The best way to enjoy a stay in Cinque Terre is renting an apartment. In high-season a week long minimum stay is often required but you can find an apartment for rent just for 3/4 days if you are not looking for an accommodation right in the villages.The few hotels and B&B are usually fully booked from May to end of September.
